Be prepared for some steamy, slightly sexual and awkward lyrics in this new one from Selena Gomez with A$AP Rocky. Good For You is amazzzzin on the ears but probably not for your grannies so keep her away.
This is a seriously mature sound for Selena and a totally different direction from her previous music, it’s all good to me either way. This weeks fave in the world…

Yes the boys are back in town, well they’re on tour somewhere, but they have a new song basics. Drag Me Down is actually like nothing we’ve heard from the boys before, it has a ‘cooler’ sound and is catch as hell, naturally I love it and it’s my fave record in the world right now.
Embrace it ;)

These guys can literally do NO WRONG at the moment, their debut album Communication has lived up to all our hopes and dreams and, their two singles this year have been the soundtrack to festivals and everything feel good.
Worship for me is one of the stand out tracks from the album, Olly’s infectious tone and ability to write STUPIDLY catchy hooks is what makes this a winning track and possible future single.

I’ve been SO slack with updating my fave records recently mainly due to Glasto and general faffing about, never fear as here we are now.
This weeks is from a guy who has come into 2015 and not held back, he’s made his mark – Hozier. Take Me To Church was one of the most incredible songs of recent times, the power and emotion was something to commend, he had the attention of the world, Someone New was a great follow up as well.
Last Sunday I was lucky enough to see him at midday on the Pyramid stage at Glasto – he was sublime, so much so that I was NEARLY brought to tears, it was a shiver all over your body situation.
Sedated was one of the tracks which really stood out during his set, it features on the album which I bought straight away.
A powerful hook with poetic words – what’s not to love?

So how exactly do you follow up a hit record such as Wish You Were Mine? A question I’m sure must’ve crossed the mind of producer Philip George after totally ruling the clubs and radio, well he’s managed to do it with Afraid To Love.
This record is ideal for the summer raving months, it’s a proper ‘hands in the air’ festival moment and will just go OFF anywhere.
Fave record in the world right now…

Fetty’s Trap Queen has been building momentum for a long time now, as in since August last year! It’s finally got the attention it deserves in the UK and is ready for a Summer release.
You may have ZERO clue what’s being said but you’ll bloody love this.
Fave record in the world right now…

I feels like YEARS since we’ve heard anything solo material from John Newman. His debut album was released back in 2013, since then we’ve heard bits and bobs including his latest hook up with Calvin Harris, but this is what we’ve been waiting on. Come And Get It is Newman all over, powerful hooks with that classic soul sound.
YUS JOHN. YUS.
