If you haven’t already, have a  listen to Becky’s AWESOME new single called Losing, sublime!

Asher and Greg are two talented dudes, Asher isn’t rapping on this, instead he helps his partner in crime pick the best tracks for this mixtape.

Asher Roth & Greg Gaudreau aka DJ Wreckineyez are like Nick Van Exel & Rey Ordonez. The perfect tag team. Using music as a vehicle to explore the many layers of the universe, Roth and Wreckineyez find themselves stumbling across realizations that entertain not only themselves but their thousands of listeners. Asher Roth is one very clever and likeable man. Having met him a few times now I can say that from first hand conversations, he knows what he wants and he will always make it happen. His reasons for putting this mixtape out prove my point…

“I’ve decided to stray from the path UMG has laid for me and continue on the scenic route. I prefer to relay my music directly to my fans. Show them what it is I see. Share with them what it is I think. I enjoy letting you hear free-flowing ideas recorded in basements and broom closets. Who cares that they will probably never be heard on the radio? I want to be proactive and not reactive and I would rather nothing get in the way of the relationship I have with my family, friends, fans and my music.”

– Asher Roth.

Featuring artists ranging from Lil Wayne and Bieber, and hosted by DJ Frama and Don Cannon, you need this tape!

4.Party Girl (ft. Lil Wayne)

Mark Asari is a name I’ve been following for a year or so now, he first cropped up on my musical radar after featuring on PW’s debut mixtape, he has one hell of a voice.

The London based R&B artist has released his debut mixtape which you can download and stream at your will.

Mark My Words features production from Wizzy Wow, and features with Ms. D and Yungen.

Download/ Listen: Mark Asari – Mark My Words [Mixtape]

The Manor aka Danny Graft, Jonny Dutch and Scotty Stacks, are a rap trio hailing from South London.

Their latest release, Alors En Graft, sees The Manor take on Stromae’s club banger Alors En Dance, with a South London twist. The track is taken from their latest mixtape, Free Mixtapes Don’t Pay The Rent which was released back in September 2012. Despite the title, the mixtape is actually free!

Watch the video for Alors En Graft:

Whilst their sound doesn’t instantly hit me as something I’d like to listen to over and over, there is a fun element which I do like – it’s probably the South London humour which can be heard all over this particular track.

Download their mixtape Free Mixtapes Don’t Pay The Rent & Follow The Manor on Twitter.

I’ve been excited to hear Agape ever since I got wind of it’s release a few months back. The music JoJo has been putting out online this year has got me so excited for this. I’ve been obsessed with this ladies music since I was a young, naive, chubby faced 13 year old on a holiday in the State’s, her music makes me happy, it gets me excited and it always interests me.

She’s had a rough ride of late with label sitations, album push backs and the rest but this mixtape is a prime example of how talented JoJo is and why we should all be big fans and support her!

Thanks JoJo for this early Christmas prezzie!
