BA 4

Today was one of those days that I won’t forget in a hurry.

As some of you may or may not know I LOVE aviation. I’ve been training to get my pilots license and I’ve been interested in flying since I can rembember. My best friend Jared and I were given the amazing, and lucky opportunity to go behind the scenes at Heathrow today. We got to jump on a few planes, see what the passengers don’t get to see like the crew rooms, and I got to stand face to face with a 747. Not only that but the timing today was unreal, BA have just taken delivery of their brand new Boeing 787, and we were there to watch the whole thing. It get’s no better.

Those that know me and those of you who may have read about my flying adventures will know that I am pretty much obsessed with aviation and flying. Like OBSESSED and I thought I’d try and make aviation “cool” because let’s face is – flying a plane is so much more amazing than driving a car on a road, right?

So this is really interesting and I thought I’d share it. The world’s shortest scheduled flight in operated by LoganAir between Isle of Westray and Isle of Papa Westray, Scotland. The flight time is just 2 minutes – YES 2 MINUTES!

Here’s a video of the flight.

Over and out.

You may remember last summer I blogged about my obsession with flying. Since I can remember I’ve wanted to be a pilot, that was before my love of music came along. My passion to fly has stuck with me and I’ve finally started lessons to gain my privates pilots license. It takes 32 hours of flying in a little Cessna 152 around my local airfield Denham and I am loving it.
