Big up Calvin doing the ever awkward DJ miming (I should know).

OH HIYA! I’m back in the homeland after an AMAZING 3 weeks away, travelling diaries coming later on. I’m not going to play catch up too much but here’s a few highlights which I don’t want to miss out on.
Ellie Goulding is back this year with a brand new album and to get us excited here is a cover of Active Child’s Hanging On with a helping hand from her pal Tinie!

A few days after the behind the scenes video we have the real thing in all its glory. I’ve now realised what I don’t really like about this song and it’s the vocal in the hook, it just doesn’t sit well on the beat, the verses however are cool and Tinie sounds on top form.

Rita Ora is one of the hottest names in music right now. Her UK debut single R.I.P featuring Tinie Tempah has got music fans vvv excited to hear what else this new star has to offer.
The music video is coming soon but before that drops here’s the behind the scenes footage.

Well this is a nice treat. Some of the hottest UK MC’s and the quickest rapper from the US, Busta Rhymes jump on this all stars remix of Lab’s smash Earthquake.
Naturally, this is B.I.G!

Last night at the Brit’s Tinie Tempah announced the title of his brand new album to the press.
His 2nd album will be entitled Demonstration. Whilst speaking to the BBC last night he said that the album will…
“cover a lot of the things that have been going on around the world, especially in London recently.” said the rapper at the award ceremony, “We all know that a lot has been going on around the world recently with protests, the people are starting to stand up for what they believe in. With the first album I was definitely discovering who I was and what I was about and what the industry was about.
“Now I’m a lot more comfortable and a lot more in my stride. I think it’s now time to demonstrate to people why I am who I am and why I do what I do better than anybody else, in the most modest way of course.”

The UK meets US with Tinie and Wretch teaming up with J. Cole. I STILL don’t understand the fuss over Cole, yes he’s good but…? Either way I like how he sounds on this track.
This is taken off the forthcoming mixtape Happy Birthday.

Last night Mistajam had the world exclusive of the long awaited second single from Labrinth. Lab has been the go to guy for a long while now, ever since Pass Out dropped last year everyone has been calling his phone, he even revealed that he’s had to turn down Beyonce THATS how busy Labrinth is. I love that, finally the UK artists are in a better position (I think) than the US rap artists over here. People like Ed Sheeran, Pro Green, Tinie, Yasmin and Emeli Sande are all showing stateside what we’ve got.
Now I would link up to the track from YouTube but every single link has been taken down this morning so I guess an unfinished live version will have to do for now.
