CJ Beatz has been doing his thing Monday nights 1-4am on BBC Radio 1Xtra for a while now but I’ve never posted up on here ranting and raving about it like I really should be. I’m a regular weekly listener via the BBC iPlayer as it’s now the only show where I can hear the music I love 100% in the mix by a DJ who can scratch, juggle and mix well. Woo new music from The Dream, I played this a few Podcast’s back and since then a remix has dropped featuring Jeezy which I admit probably should have been the radio version as it just add’s something extra which was needed.
Now I’ve seen and read that so many people just don’t get this guy, I however LOVE both his albums. They are solid R&B albums with some amazing production. Here are a few prime examples of some brilliant Dream records…

Here is my first show of 2010. This year I want to take the Podcast to different places, I want to be able to bring a wider variety of new music to peoples ears which means that more genres need to be heard, expect some brand new sounds including that of Drum & Bass, Dupstep and everything inbetween – it will all be good music.
In this first show I look back at some of the big tunes and stories of 2009 in a two part documentary “The Story of 2009″ as well as playing a few future hits as well.
The name of the Podcast has also had a slight change, since working on 1Xtra it’s time to change away from “DJ WM” to my real name of Will Manning, this means that I reffer to myself as Will Manning and WM in the Podcast to make things easier.
