After destroying the O2 Arena in London last week Jay and Yeezy have released the video for one of the hottest Hip Hop records of 2012, No Church In The Wild featuring the ever amazing Frank Ocean.
The video is directed by French director Romain Gavras and it’s pretty special.

Some spazzed out visuals for the huge record Niggas in Paris has dropped. With live elements mixed with some eye hurting visuals this video is pretty much summed up as ‘epic’.

So I’m a day late posting this one up but last night the world was ‘awwwing’ at the release of Jay-Z’s track about his first baby daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
The rumours about them renting a whole floor of a New York hospital aren’t true however as the hospital in question released a statement today saying the couple payed $1.3 dollars for a special suite, not bad eh.
Beyonce released this little statement on her blog:
Hello Hello Baby Blue!
We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.
She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.
We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.
- Beyoncé & JAY Z
I think it’s fair to say Blue is the luckiest girl on the planet.

With the release of their latest work Watch The Throne only days ago the official video for the first single has been released. Directed by Spike Jonze.
This video is simple yet so effective, it is still visually exciting. I love the colouring of the blue sky against the American flag, the car scene is so good and it has a fun vibe.

Yesterday saw the release of the most highly anticipated Hip Hop album of recent times. Two of Hip Hop’s biggest names joined forces to make one album, Jay-Z and Kanye West together.

Whilst some very horrible scenes take place in London at the moment I’ve had little time to sit and listen to the whole album, this being the story for most DJ’s who live in London, the pointless and sickening behaviour has taken over everyones time, everyone in London and the UK are glued to the news channels. Having said that I have quickly lisened to a few tracks including those featuring Frank Ocean who appears twice and Mr Hudson, expect to hear three tracks on Podcast 103 which is out on Saturday.
I can already tell from my quick listen that this album has taken on a whole new sound for Jay, it seems that Kanye has had a big influence on the sound with a lot of production done by Ye. Theres a lot of dark, electronic and breakbeat production with some grime influences and even samples from Cassius and Flux Pavillion – crazy!
The album has gone into the number 1 spot in 23 countries in one day, the anticipation for this album was like no other.

Why the ‘?’ mark in the title? Well this is unconfirmed as the official cover for the album so we shall see. I’m kind of hoping it will be more than this, its just gold, thats it, gold, actually it looks a bit like a picture frame, a really over the top gold picture frame.

This is my tune of the moment (aside from the Example joint) this is one of those tracks where you stop in the street and just think “Hell yeah, life is good” or “I can do anything if I put my mind to it.” This is a new Jay-Z classic.
