Got this through on Monday, J Holiday is back with his second album entitled ‘Round 2.’ Like many people I was really looking forward to this album, the last one was cool and the joint ‘Bed’ is still doing it for me, when ‘It’s Yours’ leaked late last year i was hyping, it’s a killer! But like many things I was really disappointed when the finished product came though.
So what’s wrong with this album? A few things…
- The common and overly used theme of issues over females
- Boring hooks
- Bland production
- … and the rest
I could go on, but there’s not much point. For me there were only 2 tracks out of 13 that really stood out and those were ‘It’s Yours’ and ‘Fly.’ Usually when I get a new album I let the whole album from track 1 to the end play through and don’t let myself skip any tracks, now this might be harsh but I with this album I literally couldn’t do it, I found myself skipping most tracks after 1 minute 30.
Overall this album is a 4/10.

the album is super hot, especially track 1(it’s yours), track 2(fall) and forever is not enough
