Just got in from another Christmas Lights show, this time in Hull, Yorkshire.
It has now become a standard procedure that as soon as I get into the car I am wound up like theres no tomorrow, this continues in the dressing room and then again on the journey back home. In all today it was about 10 hours worth. To top it all off the girls put my overgrown mop into bunches and said that I had to go on stage with them in.
The performance was a weird one, it was on a balcony overlooking a square in the city. It was freezing and very windy, on top of that there was a fog machine to my right where I was facing which was spurting out dry ice into my eyes every 30 seconds resulting in me laughing a lot.
Our last Christmas Lights performance is on Sunday in Sheffield with Beverley Knight and Little Boots!

A lot of big albums have dropped over the past few weeks so just in case you need some help with whats hot then here’s my list of must haves!
N-Dubz – Against All Odds
This album came out on Monday and features tracks with Chipmunk and Mr Hudson. The UK’s biggest hit makers have done it again, every track is a smash.
Wale – Attention Deflict
This is my number one album right now, the production is crazy as well as Wale’s flow and lyrics. If you love Hip Hop and good music in general then you will love this album.
Amerie – In Love & War
I’ve always had a soft spot for Amerie. Her last album was seriously slept on so let’s hope people don’t do the same with her latest release “In Love & War.” This album is deep, emotional and edgy.
Ryan Leslie – Transition
I got a fair bit of greif on Twitter when I said that this new album from R Les was weak, rubbish and not worth a listen. I’M SORRY. I was wrong… kinda! Yes the album is by Ryan Leslie so its a no brainer but to be fair to my point the production isn’t “wow” and the vocals arn’t “wow” but despite all this it is a listenable album… end of.
Rihanna – R Rated
Ri Ri is back and this album is insane. Too many stand out tracks to list on this. It’s deep, has crazy production, features Young Jeezy and is a brilliant come back. This album needs to get into your collection NOW!
